Important Notice on Stop Loss/Take Profit
The concept of stop loss/take profit is not currently available on the platform. However, it is planned for the next release.
What to do instead:
Manually adjust the two designated fields on the order entry screen.
The contingent order will be placed exactly as specified.
Example: If entering a long position, ensure the stop loss value is negative (e.g., -0.75 or another applicable value). If set incorrectly, the stop loss may be placed above the entry price, which would be incorrect.
The same applies to take profit:
Select Limit as the order type.
Ensure the market side is correctly defined by the sign of the distance value (positive for long positions, negative for short positions).
A preview will be shown on the DOM screen, followed by a confirmation screen before execution.
Entering a Trade
Open your chart and determine your trade direction (e.g., going long).
Click Buy, then select Confirm and Send to place the order.
To change the order type, go to the Order Type section and select your preferred type.
For Market Orders, confirm your selection and send the order.
Once filled, your position will be active.
Closing a Trade
From the Positions Tab
Navigate to the Positions Tab to view active trades.
If you don’t see it, open the dropdown menu and drag it into your workspace.
To exit a trade:
Right-click on the position and select Close Single Order OR
Choose Close with Market and Cancel Existing Orders (if bracket orders are active).
Using the DOM (Depth of Market)
Turn off order confirmation for faster execution.
If the DOM is not visible, go to the Market Tab and drag the DOM ladder into your workspace.
Click Buy to enter a long position.
Click Sell to close the position.
Alternatively, right-click on the position and select Exit Position.
By following these steps, you can efficiently enter and exit trades while manually managing stop loss and take profit levels until the automated feature is released.
