What’s the difference between Static and Full Accounts?

Static accounts and Full accounts offer different types of threshold / drawdown.

Updated over a week ago

Static accounts have a fixed drawdown. This means the drawdown does not trail Auto Liquidate Peak Balance and remains fixed. Full accounts utilize a trailing drawdown which follows your Auto Liquidate Peak Balance, including both open PnL and close PnL.

$100k Static Account Example:

The total available drawdown is $600 from the starting balance, meaning the account balance must not drop below $99,400. A trader enters a long position and makes a profit of $500. The drawdown remains fixed at $99,400. It does not follow changes in the Auto Liquidate Peak Balance.
