Certain markets, especially agricultural ones (Ags), close earlier than 4:59 PM ET. Some close as early as 2:05 PM ET, while others might close around 2:20 PM ET. Make sure to close your trades at least one minute before the market's closing time to avoid unexpected liquidation.

While open positions and attached orders are automatically canceled after 4:59 PM ET, you must manually cancel orders in markets that close earlier.
