Can't Login, Quantower

Learn how to troubleshoot the most common Quantower login errors for smooth setup.

Step 1: Download the correctly licensed platform.

  1. Purchase an Account & Sign Agreements
    Make sure your account is active and your Rithmic agreements are signed.

  2. Download Quantower
    Get the preinstalled Quantower package with your full license already set up.

  3. Already Have Quantower Installed?

    • Make sure your version is the most current one.

    • Update to the newest version within the application if needed.


Step 2: Launch and log in to Quantower.

Open the Quantower application. Search for DayTraders.com as a connection in the left-hand menu.

Once found, select DayTrader.com Chicago Area for the server and enter your Rithmic login credentials provided to you in your member's area.

Before connecting, know that you do not need to be connected to any other connection than DayTrader.com. This includes Rithmic and dxFeed. Being connected to dxFeed has been known to cause problems and is best avoided.


Lastly, check your connection settings and make sure the box labeled "Use RTrader" is unchecked and that rTrader Pro has market data off.


Finally press connect in Quantower and you are ready to begin trading!
