Can't Login, Quantower

Learn how to troubleshoot the most common Quantower login errors for smooth setup.

Step 1: Download the correctly licensed platform.

Once you have purchased an account and signed your Rithmic agreements, go to the quickstart page in your member's area and download Quantower to get access to your full package preinstalled license. If you already have a version of Quantower downloaded you can delete the folder containing all Quantower application files. This will completely remove the application from your system. Then download the new version from our quickstart page.


Step 2: Launch and log in to Quantower.

Open the Quantower application. Search for DayTraders.com as a connection in the left-hand menu.

Once found, select DayTrader.com Chicago Area for the server and enter your Rithmic login credentials provided to you in your member's area.

Before connecting, know that you do not need to be connected to any other connection than DayTrader.com. This includes Rithmic and dxFeed. Being connected to dxFeed has been known to cause problems and is best avoided.


Lastly, check your connection settings and make sure the box labeled "Use RTrader" is unchecked and that rTrader Pro has market data off.


Finally press connect in Quantower and you are ready to begin trading!
