Setting Auto Liquidation Time

To manually set your account's auto liquidation time:

  1. Open RTrader Pro.

  2. Locate and right-click the account you wish to adjust.

  3. Select "View Risk Parameters".

  4. Click on the "Risk Parameters Set by the Trader" tab.

  5. Set your preferred Auto Liquidation Time.

⚠️ Note: Auto liquidation times do not adjust automatically for daylight saving or standard time. You must update it manually as needed.

Managing Auto Liquidate Criteria

To further safeguard your trading account, RTrader Pro offers customizable auto liquidation criteria:

  1. In RTrader Pro, open the Trader Panel.

  2. Right-click your account.

  3. Choose "Auto Liquidate Criteria".

  4. Select your preferred method of risk control from the options below.

Available Criteria:

  • Minimum Account Balance: Triggers liquidation when your balance drops below a set threshold.

  • Percentage of Cash on Hand Lost: Liquidates your position if a predefined percentage of your account is lost.

  • Loss Limit: Defines a fixed dollar loss at which liquidation is triggered.

  • Trailing Minimum Account Balance: Tracks your high-water mark and liquidates if balance falls below a trailing limit.

  • Limited Trailing Minimum Account Balance: Same as trailing, but with a cap on how high the trailing balance can go.

⚠️ Be cautious when adjusting cash on hand or loss thresholds. Incorrect setup may lead to unexpected liquidation.

Final Tips

  • Always double-check your settings to ensure they align with your risk tolerance.

  • Consider consulting with Rithmic support if you're unsure about your configuration.

By using these tools wisely, you can better manage risk and protect your trading capital.
