Description: A detailed guide on managing your risk in Rithmic by setting up Auto Liquidation Criteria to safeguard your account.

To effectively manage your risk on Rithmic, follow these steps:

  1. Open RTrader Pro.

  2. Click on the Trader Panel.

  3. Right-click on the account you wish to manage.

  4. Select one of the Auto Liquidate Criteria options.

  5. Choose Trailing Minimum Account Balance or another suitable risk management setting.

Available Auto Liquidate Criteria:

  1. Minimum Account Balance: Your account will be liquidated if the balance falls below the set threshold.

  2. Percentage of Cash on Hand Lost: If your account loses more than a set percentage of its cash on hand, liquidation occurs.

  3. Loss Limit: Once your account reaches a specified loss limit, liquidation happens.

  4. Trailing Minimum Account Balance: If your account balance falls below the trailing minimum balance, it triggers liquidation.

  5. Limited Trailing Minimum Account Balance: This caps how much your Trailing Minimum Account Balance can rise, protecting against excessive losses.

Be careful when adjusting these settings, as editing cash on hand or adjusting limits may trigger unexpected liquidation. Always double-check your setup to ensure it matches your risk tolerance.
