Some MotiveWave users may want to connect multiple trading platforms to their Rithmic account. In order to avoid paying multiple platform fees you can use Rithmic R|Trader Pro to feed data to your trading platforms (including MotiveWave). Here are the instructions:
Step 1: Download and Install MotiveWave
Download: Visit MotiveWave's download page and download the software.
Install: Follow the on-screen instructions to install MotiveWave on your computer.
Step 2: Initial Configuration
Launch MotiveWave: Open the application after installation.
First Screen: Click Next to proceed.
Second Screen: Read and agree to the terms by clicking I Agree.
Third Screen: Enter your license key to activate the software.
Step 3: Create Your Workspace
Fourth Screen:
Click Next.
Step 4: Connect Your Account
Fifth Screen:
Sixth Screen:
Enter your password.
Configure the dropdown options as required (refer to the instructions provided).
Wait 10–15 seconds for confirmation. Once connected, you will receive a success message.
Step 5: Complete Setup
Seventh Screen: Click Finish to finalize the setup.
Login Reload:
Step 6: Offline Mode Setup
On your first login:
Close the application using the Shutdown option.
Step 7: Finalize Connection
Reopen MotiveWave and select your workspace.
Enter your password.
Ensure the system is set to:
Server: DayTraders.com
Remember My Password: On
Click Connect to access your trading environment.
Your MotiveWave client is now fully configured and ready for trading. If you encounter any issues, refer to the support documentation or contact the DayTraders support team for assistance.
