Handling Technical Issues and Closing Trades in R-Trader Pro

Learn how to quickly close trades using RTrader Pro and manage technical issues while trading.

It’s essential to keep RTrader Pro open at all times to monitor your trailing threshold and to quickly close any trades. This way, you avoid unexpected situations.

Steps to Close a Trade:

  1. Log into RTrader Pro: Make sure you are using your Rithmic credentials.

  2. Navigate to Positions: Once logged in, click on the Positions tab.

  3. Close the Trade: Simply click the red "X" next to the position you want to close, and it’s done.

Dealing with Technical Issues:

  • Technical glitches are part of trading, and it’s vital to be prepared. RTrader Pro is your backup plan for closing trades if Quantower or any other 3rd party app has a technical issue.

  • Keep in mind that it’s up to you as a trader to be aware and ready to address technical challenges.
